ONE of the nicest places to stay in Vava'u if you are looking for something convenient to Neiafu is Mystic Sands. Four adjoining boutique-styled beachfront cottages with comfortable king beds, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom open directly onto the beach, each with its own private verandah to enjoy meals or drinks. Behind the cottages is a larger apartment ideal for a family holiday, with views of the ocean from the upper floor where it is situated. In front there is a jetty from which guests may embark on fishing, whalewatching or diving tours. On-site staff provide excellent support and friendly service and taxi service to town when required.
